The Fragrance

This is a beautifully layered fragrance, far richer than a simple scent of old paper. Soft leather, bergamot and fresh green leaves give way to warming spice, before amber, tobacco, sandalwood and patchouli create the deep, comforting atmosphere of a much-loved independent bookshop.

Opening: Leather, bergamot, green leaves and citrus.
Heart: Nutmeg, carnation and black pepper.
Finish: Amber, tobacco, sandalwood and patchouli.

Our standard jar candles have been burn-tested at approximately 47–50 hours. Actual burn time varies with use and candle care.

How do I get the best from my candle?
Trim the wick to around 5 mm before lighting, burn on a heat-resistant surface and never leave a lit candle unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
